Privacy Policy

AusiGen Wellness sells coach-designed fitness programmes. To fulfil an order and to take payment for it, we need to hold some information about you. This page sets out exactly what we collect, why we collect it, who else touches it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

1. Who we are

In this policy, "AusiGen Wellness", "we", "us" and "our" mean the Australian business operating ausigenwellness.com and the associated programme store at www.ausigen.com. "You" and "customer" mean anyone who visits the site, emails us, or buys a programme from us.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We are not a gym and we are not a healthcare provider, so we do not hold medical records.

2. What we collect

We only ask for what an order actually needs. In practice that is:

  • Order and billing details — your name, email address, phone number if you give one, billing address, and the contents and total of your order. These come from the checkout on our store at www.ausigen.com when you place an order.
  • Payment information — your payment is taken on a secure page hosted by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly with Stripe and never reach our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference we can match to your order.
  • Correspondence — the emails you send to our support address and our replies to them.
  • Technical and usage data — standard web server logs including IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site working and secure.

You do not have to identify yourself to browse this site or read programme information. You do have to identify yourself to place an order, because we cannot deliver or invoice an anonymous purchase.

3. What we do not collect

We want to be specific about this, because fitness businesses often collect far more than we do:

  • We do not collect health information. There is no health screening questionnaire on this site and no form of any kind. We do not ask for, and do not hold, injury history, medical conditions, medications or pregnancy status.
  • We do not run member accounts. There is no login, no password and no member portal, so we hold no credentials.
  • We do not hold training or body data. No session logs, no weights, no measurements, no progress photos.
  • We never see your card number, its expiry, or its security code. Stripe handles all of it.

If any of this changes — for example if we later add accounts or screening — we will update this policy before collecting anything new.

4. How we use your information

  • To process and fulfil the order you placed
  • To email you a secure payment link and a receipt for it
  • To deliver the programme content you have purchased
  • To answer your enquiries and provide support
  • To detect fraud, prevent misuse and keep the site secure
  • To meet our tax, accounting and other legal obligations

We do not send marketing email. Every message we send you relates to an order you placed or a question you asked.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Stripe — payment processing and refunds. Card details are entered directly with Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We receive confirmation of payment and a reference, not card data. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
  • WooCommerce store at www.ausigen.com — our programme store, where orders are placed and order history is held. Order data flows between the store and this site so we can email you the correct payment link and mark the order paid.
  • SMTP2GO — transactional email delivery for payment links, receipts and replies to your enquiries. SMTP2GO processes the message content and your email address in order to deliver it.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — the platforms that run the website and store its data under contract to us.
  • Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where genuinely required, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal disclosure — where we are required or authorised by Australian law, a court order, or a regulator.
  • Business transfer — if the business is sold or restructured, customer information may transfer to the buyer subject to this same policy.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers store or process data outside Australia. Stripe operates in the United States and Ireland, SMTP2GO in the United States, the European Union and New Zealand, and our hosting provider may use data centres in the United States, the European Union or the Asia-Pacific. Before disclosing information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records — seven years, as Australian tax law requires.
  • Correspondence — up to two years after the conversation ends, so we can pick up a later question with context.
  • Enquiries that do not become orders — up to twelve months.
  • Server logs — a short rolling window, typically measured in weeks, then discarded.

When information is no longer needed and we are not legally required to keep it, we destroy it or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and role-based access so staff only see what their job requires. Payment card data never sits on our systems, which removes the single largest risk a small business carries.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected customers and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

9. Cookies

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. It serves static pages and needs no cookie to do so.

Our store at www.ausigen.com is a separate WooCommerce site and does set the cookies a shop requires — a cart and a checkout session. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment page for fraud prevention. Both are governed by their operators' own policies.

10. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles

You may ask us to:

  • Give you access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything inaccurate, out of date or incomplete
  • Delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it
  • Explain how a particular piece of information is being used

Email support@ausigenwellness.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not charge for access requests. We may need to verify your identity before releasing information, which protects you as much as us.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first — most problems are a misunderstanding we can fix quickly. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

11. Under 18s

Our programmes are written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

12. Other sites

Our store at www.ausigen.com and the Stripe payment page are operated separately from this site. Once you are on one of them, that operator's privacy policy applies to what happens there. We are not responsible for how other operators handle your information.

13. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or our providers change. The current version always sits on this page with its revision date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use customer information, we will say so here before it takes effect.

14. Contact us

Privacy questions, access requests and complaints go to support@ausigenwellness.com. For anything else, use the contact page.
